first time visitor info

Class Registration: Advanced registration is required. Use the online booking system or contact us. Be sure to fill out your waiver in advance. Parents are welcome to observe but please do not assist verbally or otherwise unless it’s a parent involved class specifically. It can be overwhelming to the student if multiple people give instruction during compromised positions.

Location: We are located at 301 S. Meridian Ave in Muse Meridian Center at the corner of Maple and Meridian in Wichita. From the parking lot, our entrance is the furthest north door around the brick corner, just beyond the main building front door with ramp and stairs. This door is unlocked 15 minutes prior to class start. Our beginners classes are in Suite 113. Level 2+ classes are in the gym/event center. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early for your first visit to find our location. Students may be turned away if arriving 10 minutes or more after class has started as you miss the importance of warming up and cause a disruption to other students’ class time.

Prepare for class: Hydrate and eat well the day-of but not at least one hour prior to class time. Wear clothing that keeps you covered while you’re upside down. Leotards and fitted clothing are ideal. Layers are recommended as we warm up and cool down. Please do not apply any heavy perfume, lotion or oil before class. We will be barefoot.

Arrival: The instructor will introduce themselves and check you off the registration list. Cubbies are available for shoes, jewelry and personal items. All students warm up together before accessing the equipment. All moves are optional and the student should prioritize self-care, stop if something causes pain, be aware of personal limitations, take breaks during class as needed, stay home when not feeling well, prioritize hydration and nutrition, nurture any strains or injuries and consult a physician when appropriate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need experience?

There is no experience needed to join an age appropriate beginners level class. We start slowly from the ground up, building strength, balance, flexibility and confidence in each class.

Do I have to be “in shape”?

No. While having a regular physical practice is beneficial, it is not required to start an aerial practice. Our experienced instructors will lead you through a safe and supported class. All students begin at a different level. Beginning aerial may inspire you to incorporate more physical fitness into your regular routine.

Can I observe a class first?

Yes, please send an email or give us a call first so we can recommend what class would be best for you to observe.

Is there a weight limit?

All equipment is rated to hold more than 2,000 lbs. There is no weight limit.

Do I have to register in advance?

Yes, as we have limited spaces available and would hate to turn you away because we are full. Class registrations are available online and our website will reflect if a class is full. No walk-ins please. You may also call or email to reserve. Payment is required at time of booking.

What should I wear and bring to class?

Bring a water bottle with a lid. Wear comfortable form-fitting clothing that allows you to move. Long hair should be secured for safety. We recommend a fitted T-shirt with sleeves (covering the armpits) that will stay in place shall you go upside down and pants/capris that cover the thighs and back of the knees. Layers are recommended as we warm up and cool down. No gum, candy, food (private parties excluded), zippers, jeans, perfumes, lotions or jewelry please. We will be barefoot. We have yoga mats available but you are welcome to bring your own.

Can I take photos?

Yes but please be mindful to not disrupt other students or the instructor. Please have your phone on silent. Our instructors will also take photos and videos as they can during class.
