An introduction to the gorgeous practice of acrobatics on a suspended metal hoop, known as lyra and aerial hoop. No aerial experience necessary! Learn ideal form, proper technique, and safety on the lyra. Basic moves will include mounts, knee hangs, seated poses and simple shapes. Ages 12+ welcome. 10:00am Fridays, weekly
Beginner friendly, but some athletic ability is beneficial. Please bring a water bottle with a lid. Wear comfortable form-fitting clothing that allows you to move, pants/capris that cover the thighs and back of the knees, and a fitted shirt that will stay in place shall you go upside down. No perfumes, lotions or jewelry please. We will be barefoot. Due to the nature of booking limited space, we do not offer refunds, but are happy to transfer your purchase to a different date or another participant.
